Safeguarding Officer (Investigations and Assessments)
The Safeguarding Commission is seeking to recruit a Safeguarding Officer (Investigations and Assessments).
The Safeguarding Officer (Investigations and Assessments) will contribute to the investigation processes, particularly to gather evidence and prepare reports with a list of relevant recommendations.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be in possession of a qualification at MQF Level 6 in Social Work, Psychology or a related area. Candidates who are in possession of a warrant would be given preference.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the social welfare and community field.
• Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and vulnerable adults.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be competent in oral and writing skills, both in Maltese and English.
• Be confident in taking responsibility for his/her own professional opinion.
• Be willing to travel in order to participate in assignments overseas.

Safeguarding Officer (Victim Care and Advocacy)
The Safeguarding Commission is seeking to recruit a Safeguarding Officer (Victim Care and Advocacy).
The Safeguarding Officer (Victim Care and Advocacy) will be mainly responsible for offering psychosocial support and confidential guidance on processes and services available.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be in possession of a qualification at MQF Level 6 in Social Work, Psychology or a related area. Candidates who are in possession of a social worker’s warrant would be given preference.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the social welfare and community field.
• Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and vulnerable adults.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Junior Safeguarding Officer
The Safeguarding Commission is seeking to recruit a Junior Safeguarding Officer.
The Junior Safeguarding Officer will be responsible for assisting in the provision of training and the vetting exercise, as well as for participating in safeguarding prevention projects, and for providing administrative support.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be in possession of a minimum qualification at MQF Level 5 (60 ECTS) in Social Care or a related area.
• Have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the social welfare and community field.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Be competent in oral and writing skills, both in Maltese and English.
• Be organised and meticulous in work.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
