Training and Lectures – Safeguarding Commission

Training and Lectures Conducted by the Safeguarding Commission in 2024 so far:

Training session through PFI, which included the attendance of Catechists & NGOs Staff.
Six training sessions held for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students following the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing.
Lectures at the Institute of Anthropology within the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.

Training and Lectures Conducted by the Safeguarding Commission in 2023:

Schools including De La Salle Sixth Form, De La Salle Secondary, Stella Maris College Secondary, St Aloysius Sixth Form, St Aloysius Secondary, St Michael’s School, Theresa Nuzzo Primary, Savio College, St Monica Birkirkara, SPMC Secondary, St Joseph Paola, St Joseph Sliema, and a session for new teachers and LSEs.
Catechists from M.U.S.E.U.M male section and Qawra Parish Church
Volunteers from the Sisters of St Theresa and novices from the Daughters of the Sacred Heart.
Lecture for the students of the Youth Ministry Course offered by the Faculty of Theology, University of Malta.
