Fr Yona Richard Tarimo is preparing a series of short videos to promote safeguarding awareness in his home diocese in Tanzania, drawing on his studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University and his placement with the Safeguarding Commission in Malta.
“I care deeply about safeguarding because every human person is created in the image and likeness of God. Every child, young person, and vulnerable adult deserves to live in safety, joy, and hope,” said Fr Yona.
